  • Go Where You're Loved

    Amanda visited Elon University’s Gender & LGBTQIA Center to facilitate a conversation about the performances we expect from (queer) Black women through a pop culture analysis of Simone Biles and Sha’Carri Richardson.

  • Advancing Racial Equity Podcast

    Shereen Daniels invited Amanda and Anastasia to her podcast, Advancing Racial Equity 4.0 to discuss Black women’s experiences and white fragility in the workplace.

  • Juneteenth Dance Writing Workshop

    We partnered with Repair the World Detroit to host a dance writing workshop in honor of Juneteenth. Our session combined an explanation of the history of Juneteenth with a series of dance exercises that helped participants explore how we embody our racial identities.

  • Black Feminist Summer School 2021

    Our summer school featured a collection of 4-week courses on Black feminist futures, monstrous women in mythology, poetic listening through the senses, and Ocean Vuong.
